fuck vista. wait for SP2. There is too much shit wrong with it (even if minor, its annoying)
use XP untill SP2 for vista comes out and cleans up all them bugs.

win2kpro ftw. fuck xp even...i used it, disabled all teh eye candy, then downgraded back to win2k lol.

xp is also nt based u ninny xp is no dif. from 2k only they add more eye candy and some other things like the built in "firewall" and system restore and a few other unneeded things.

well of course its not identical but the underpinning of xp if im not mistaken IS nt...same file system same nt service based system...most is the same except the added features and eye candy that xp offers!

never knew that. Always thought XP is a standalone... I guess built-in PPPoE and stuff like automatic driver configuration threw me off. Those 2 moments were on my "most hated" list about w2k.
